Hydrangea

I've got a sneaky feeling that when I upload this blip I will find out that the one I did last year was also of the hydrangea on its way out! Didn't you check? I can hear you say. No, because I have a routine when I open blipfoto, I upload first, then look at the notifications, then check out last year's blip, then look at the journals I subscribe to and the ones which have been uploaded today, and finally..the best bit, see what people thought of yesterday's (if I have any comments that is!) I could get quite annoyed with Tony because sometimes he will take a look during the day and so when I go in, there appear to be no comments, so I think....nobody liked my blip, then find out there are a few after all.

Anyway I don't like hydrangeas when they are in full bloom (it was a present) but I do like them when they are at the 'Miss Haversham' stage like this because they are so ethereal and the contrasting brown and purple is quite lovely.
