Andale Amigo!
Riding home tonight I passed these two horses playing in an odd fashion, they seemed to be head butting each other?! When I focused in, one was grabbing hold of the bridle of the other and pulling him around! I think the horse doing the grabbing is called Amigo because it says so on his overcoat, hence the title.
My Spanish is limited, as you can see, but the 'andale' reminds me of a much loved television character from when I was very small Topo Gigio. I think he used to say, 'Andale, arriba, andale' but I'm sure someone will set me right on that? My father took me all over Bradford one very wet morning trying to find a Topo Gigio on a stick which were sold by street vendors. It was too horrible a day to find them out and about so he tracked them down to their warehouse under the railway arches. What a dad!
