Monumental.

Still unable to get my head mentally off the pillow in time to go out and catch the sun breaking through the early morning mist. Catching early morning rays of light breaking into the garden seems altogether more civilised. After all I can do it with a coffee in hand.

Was not prepared for the dead chaffinch at the bottom of this grass. Kind of blew away the quick, let's get it done and get on with what is promising to be a busy day attitude. However with the poor wee thing now making his way to the bin and with the news that councils are to be given more money to collect refuse once a week again, he will hopefully soon be resting in peace.

The grass will continue to grow - or at least it will until I decide that I really need to do some weeding.
