A day walking in the Borders

A group of over 30 Haltwhistle walkers are spending a long weekend in the Borders Today we travelled north, meeting at Harestanes visitor centre. We completed a short walk which included the Waterloo Memorial where we ate lunch. This image was taken from the memorial. K had wandered off to see this view. I just shot several images of her and this one caught my eye because of her stance (she is not posing for the camera).

It was very hot this afternoon. We are finding the temperature in our Melrose hotel fairly unbearable because the central heating is on........

Tomorrow there are longer and shorter walks on offer.
