diamonds. forever

8:30 and reflecting on an interesting day.

After a quiet morning (a run with the dogs followed by a little more gardening), we headed off to get the weeWeir from the KCC cafe, grab some soup and head into meet my parents to help celebrate the diamond wedding anniversary of my grandparents (Mum's parents).

60 years.

Wow.

It's not been an easy road in the last few years, for my Mum in particular as she is an only child of ageing parents.

But you can honour your parents by marking occasions that might so easily be forgotten about.

And this one's special as there's a card from the Queen and everything. I had to laugh at the note to the postman on the back of the envelope.
