Congratulations to MCS!

Today we celebrated the official opening of the High School campus of The Mountain Cambridge School in Hartbeespoort, South Africa!

What a brilliantly organised event! Credit to each and every student, staff member and parent who helped us, the committee, to make this day so special! Everything happened exactly on time, as planned, and everyone was on their best behaviour! The school looked so festive, lots of new flowers were donated by the children, who bought little trays of seedlings and planted it all over the school grounds, the flower arrangements were out of this world, the red carpet, the guard of honour, the bagpiper, the choir, the students who played a wide variety of musical instruments, the speeches, the unveiling of the plaque, the food and drink served under the bedouin tent, ahhh, everything about this day was perfect!

The food was served with such a finesse, the 'chocolate mousse table' is just a small example of how things were done by 'The Gap' official student caf'e which opened doors this week as well!

I wish to convey my heartiest congratulations to the three ladies who had a dream, and then had the courage and drive, to make that dream come true in such a short time! I must compliment them on the choices they made since the beginning of the high school in January 2010, they handpicked a brilliant staff who walk that extra mile for this lovely place, with almost the same passion as the founders of the school!

Upwards and onwards MCS!! We love you with a passion! I hope to still be part of this lovely place when it celebrates it?s 20th anniversary in 2021!
