Richie McCaw Country

On our way down to Wanaka we go through Kurow.

Every summer they build a straw family out of round straw bales, which started out as Mum & Dad then two children were added, then a dog and sometimes a cat!

We saw the bales had been put on the site a while ago, but did not imagine that Richie McCaw was going to be the subject this time!
