October confusion

I fancied a pork pie and a copy of the Saturday Times (for the Samurai Sukoku) so my exercise was a (long) walk to the local shops and back. I didn't take my camera (too much to carry anyway !)

So I went into my garden with the macro lens - and found the Indian summer and the strange seasons continue to confuse the plants.

I suspect a few more days of tropical sunshine will be needed before this magnolia blossoms in full glory !
