Back to the woods

I went down to the woods this morning - quite a long walk - and I was really horrified to find that they had shut off the entrance to the car park (and the woodland area) because they were resurfacing.

This was what confronted me !

With my new hip and the strict instructions about not bending or twisting, I knew that I couldn't climb over or duck under it.

Fortunately one of the dog walkers knew of a little gate further down - so I went in and took a selection of photos. I went for my wasp and acorns
