Another hot sunny autumn day! Been a productive day so far and finally upgraded my car to something with a tad more oomph! So I don't have to sit behind sunday drivers anymore :-). Lovely chilled barbecue with daughter, boyfriend and bump! Steak from local butchers was quality as ever. Lovely and peaceful in our newly landscaped garden listening to the fountain in the new pond and no blasting music from neighbours. Lovely. Sad that my daughter doesn't get excited anymore though over little things like watching the fish come up to feed! Is this something which matters little as we become grown up - but as we get older we realise the importance of such simple things in life? Maybe this is just the 4th glass of wine talking now! She thinks I'm just sad!

Pic is of Rocky, the stone (well resin) frog I bought my husband for our last anniversary - as we spent it in Rock in Cornwall. He wasn't impressed - but the thought was there!

Lovely chilled evening and I plan to finish this bottle and snuggle on the sofa with hubby before having a nice long alcohol induced sleep!
