I finally mastered french plaiting. Just when my daughter no longer begs me to have her hair that way! She had been in a gymnastics competition, so I managed to plait both side of her parting (with great difficulty). However, she was more impressed with her wavy locks after she unravelled them.

I can't remember how many times I've tried french plaiting and how many demos I've watched on youtube, then followed and failed. Then suddenly, it just clicked!!!!
