Inverness.

After what seemed incessant rain the sun broke through and I headed over to the Scorguie are ao the town as I thought the light would be right for a shot of what they now call " The City of Inverness" I however will always think of it as The Royal Burgh whose Police force I joined in 1962.
This shot shows just a part of a rapidly expanding,seemingly uncontroled, sprawl. The Castle,which stands above a beautiful river and in which I had an office for 17 years is pretty central in the pic.
