Hand painting
Well it is one way to hide the blisters. We spent a while today painting in the garden. Both were initially wary about using hands and feet and were quite happy to settle for paint brushes (and leaves in the case of Carys) until I grabbed William and painted a hand. After that there was no stopping them.
Once we cleaned up we got the small pirate pool out and William immediately sat in it. Carys was amazed and really pleased when I said she could play in her shorts and t-shirt rather than put on her UV suit. Chaos reigned for a while and it was great fun.
Carys is still not right. She moves from lovely big sister to devil child in the blink of an eye. She hasn't been sleeping and eating is difficult for her so there are reasons, but it is hard to remember that in the midst of it all.
