John and Phil rode out with me today. John had planned a route to include three peaks. Snake Pass, then here at the Cat and Fiddle, then on to Holme Moss. The view from Holme Moss in particular was amazing. We finished off at Holmfirth for a cuppa in Sid's Cafe.

It was a bit strange being so warm when all the leaves were falling from the trees.

It was also nice to come home to lovely dinner. What wasn't so good was all the new 50 limits where they were formerly 60 on perfectly good roads. Also Derbyshire and Cheshire seam to really love their 'safety' cash machines cameras.

0600--1600 shift tomorrow so an early night is in order. I hope you all have a good Monday.
