Bronte. skipping the paddle out.
this guy in the foreground wasn't the only surfer we saw edging around the swimming pool and jumping into the surf out back, saving the battle with the white water on one occasion at least.
so today we headed back into sydney and walked the bondi-coogee coastal walk out and back (although not quite all the way to coogee as it was blowing a gale and pretty darned chilly!). it's an awesome walk (as some fellow blippers have recommended, cheers) and i look forward to testing my fitness soon, joining the many other runners up and down the hills. you just have to hope the stunning scenery keeps you going i guess. not looking forward to it after we've both been struck by the cold, but i do look forward to being as fit as everyone else appears to be! i just don't cease to be impressed by the number of folk out exercising.
good on the surfers today as well since the high winds meant for some very messy surf. i was under the impression that Bronte is a pretty inconsistent wave, but there were a few chaps out today, including a lot of lifeguards seemingly having a ball out on their paddle boards. looks like hard work. i'd love to give it a go!
dinner in bondi before heading back 'home' as M starts work tomorrow. boo. fingers crossed for good news on the house tomorrow.
