Outcast

Son2 and I went to Shottermill Ponds for half an hour while Son1 had his guitar lesson this afternoon. We noticed this rather manky looking duck and his lady friend skulking in the undergrowth away from the rest of the ducks and wondered if they had been disowned or banished (do ducks disown and banish each other?). More ducks here if you like that sort of thing.

In other news, it's been an expensive day. It turned out my laptop was beyond reasonably-priced repair and so I've had to buy a new one. It's up and running nicely although I do keep hitting the number lock key, which is where the backspace was on my previous keyboard, grrrrr.
