Aerial View of the Seine

We flew from Paris to New York today, and I captured this view of the Seine River seven minutes after take-off (from Charles de Gaulle airport; I took the time from my first shot just after lift-off). View it large.

The view is just WNW of Paris; Mantes-la-Jolie is the largest town visible (in part), in the lower right corner. Giverny, which I blipped at the beginning of our month in Europe, is further west, out of the frame to the left.

We had an uneventful flight, and are spending the night in New York.
