GEORDIE BREAKFAST

Bought this jar of breakfast conserve in a local shop. The ingredients are:- Sugar, oranges ( 49%), apple pectin and Newcastle Brown Ale.(24%).

Thought it would make a nice gift for my daughter Becky - a Geordie exiled in London. She is mad keen on jams and marmalades which are a little bit different to the norm. Think this fits the bill.

***** Neil update. He is in Kuala Lumpur now. (another country ticked off the list ) Torrential thunderstorms but very humid. Hasn't sorted his bank card out yet as he doesn't have a mobile phone and can't find a working public one.( How hard has he looked? ) He has been to Nandos. Nice to see he is sampling the local food!.
