I tried to find lots of red today - preferably with MUFC emblazoned across it! For those who don't know (can anyone possibly not know by now?!) Man United were crowned European Club Champs 2008 after a monumental game which saw both teams experience the absolute extremes of sporting emotions during the latter part of the match. To see the great Bobby Charlton (survivor of the Munich air disaster 50 years ago) lead the team to collect their medals was a very special moment in United's history.

Anyway - the only 'red' I found today were these Red Hot Pokers in the garden. With another cold front ready to blast up the country maybe they're not such a bad choice afteral!
