view out to coquet island from the beach at amble. quiet day, thoughtful but getting on with other things while S, C & J make the arrangements they need to make. then fish n chips from amble, eaten in the car parked up in the dunes with a view out to sea. small pleasures i would do well to take even more pleasure in than i do sometimes.
