Tie After A Day At Work

One of THOSE days. I knew it was odd when I found myself in the living room this morning. I thought the alarm had gone off and it was time to start a new working day but I was a little bemused by the absence of the cat. And then I saw the time.

I do not get up at 3:15. Sorry. You'd have to be really special to get me to wake up at that time.

Anyway, that was the start of a rather busy day. On the way home, I was in the HBf in Franfurt and looked up to see where my train was. Front train platform 23. Front train. Oh Bother. "I'll not make that" thought I. And so, the Guard decided to encourage me - "Schnell" he shouted. And being someone who likes to please, I bally well schnelled my way along the platform and into the train.

Sadly, there was no round of applause and only a seat outside the loo to sit on. That, I would say, is a pretty defining image of my day.

I do hope your's was a lot better.
