Tante Ju
That means "Auntie Ju" and is the nickname of this particular make of airplane, the Junkers Ju 52.
This was used through the second world war as a transport and cargo plane and its career continued right up until the 80s. You normally only see it at air museums but as you can see, this one still makes it up for a little flight every now and then.
We were out tonight with K&V for another super Indian meal. Currently I'm very full of lentils, paneer and loads of the tastiest bread. The naans with onion were amazing. The naans with potato were even better. I can't believe how much food I managed to eat.
It was the first time we had seen them for months and the first time we'd seen V since she became pregnant. She's got another 3 months before the baby comes but from the size of V, it could be tomorrow and one wouldn't be surprised. Looking forward so seeing them again later this month.
