Orchestra 0:1 Short Attention Span

Work flew by, mostly because I have loads to do and not enough time in which to do it before going on holiday. So many interruptions. Thankfully application form is complete, and test almost finished.

I'm coming down with a cold, not amused. My last week in Iona was spent with a cold and I do not want a repeat. Throat all scratchy. Gr.

We picked up tickets to see the Scottish Chamber Orchestra a couple of weeks ago through an offer so had our first visit to the Usher Hall tonight to listen to some Berlioz. Ultimately not my thing. The place was full of old people and as a result stank of talc and pomade, and whilst I like classical music this piece put me to sleep, so we ducked out at the first interval. I did enjoy seeing the building interior, and Nandos for dinner, but was really quite happy to come home, change out of unforgiving smart clothes and heels and watch Desperate Housewives.

By far the best part of today was seeing that there is soon to be a Wagamama in Edinburgh at last. I'm so happy that I can even cope with it being at the wrong end of town.
