Three little birds

Woke up this morning, smiled with the rising sun...

This may be the last time I see the sun rising like this for a while. Tomorrow we head off to Iona for a week, which I expect will be mostly sleep. After a couple of days at work I'll be in Spain for 4 nights, so by the time it's back to normal life on the 24th the sun may well be rising well after I set off for work...

I got my application and accompanying test done and handed in today, but it meant no lunch and cramming a million other things into too short a day. I only just made it to a mani/pedi appointment at 4, and, as I had to leave with bare legs/feet and a mini skirt to avoid ruining the polish I couldn't go to Asda to see of they sold my favourite cheese (Pie D'Anglois I believe...). Thankfully my cold seems to be moving through the motions at a decent pace, and I've managed to get everything packed and ready to set off by 9 tomorrow. I'm now relaxing with wine and US X-Factor, looking forward to sleep.
