Moon and sun in the masonic fashion

Taken from an old masonic memorial stone in the former churchyard where the Saltcoats museum sits now.

It has a greenish cast because of mossy growth (this being a damp part of the world), and the sunlight was dappled this morning, which adds a certain misty quality too.

I'm not interested in the masons etc (never been a fan of closed clubs) but I love the symbols here.

A quick blip today, but can I just say - hello sunshine!! You're welcome to stay! Loving not having wet feet :o)
