Common Powderhorn
This morning I relocated the witches' butter fungus that I promised to blip a while ago but then came across these fascinating caldonia's growing around the base of an old silver birch tree. I blipped a caldonia fimbriata (the elf cups) on 21st September. As far as I can tell these ones are the caldonia coniocraea or common powderhorn - the largest being about 1cm in height.
