Witches' Butter

I've been meaning to photograph this one for some time, then I lost the tree that it was on. I think this is witches' butter - its a mass of dark coloured jelly-like discs all fused together into one sausage shaped blob. Quite difficult to photograph as it was about three metres above the ground on a dead silver birch that had toppled over and was leaning precariously against another tree.
