Belated teen rebellion
The Boyfriend is in charge of blip for a moment. Kat doesn't trust me when I ask to take over. Once again I'm proving her right. But she falls for the puppy eyes every single time.
Righto. My lovely lady. Not that it appears that way. She's a grumpybutt at the moment and didn't want a photo taken. (Does it show?) I don't blame her though. (She back-blipped a few minutes ago - have a read) I'm just amused by her getting four new tattoos in two weeks (two of them visible-ish in this photo) and topping it off with starting to stretch the first piercings in her earlobes today (also visible-ish if you look closely) a week after the last of the new tattoos was done. Belated teen rebellion?
Kat is all for body art for the right reasons. All 15 of her tattoos are for very deep reasons and mean a lot to her. And after considering stretching her ear piercings for a few years now that can hardly seem impulse or for the sake of conformity. This is something SHE wants to do. For her. Defying that thing called professionalism for the sake of being who she wants to be. Good on her! I did the same. And it took a lot of persuasion from me for her to follow through with what she wants. I wouldn't have bothered if she weren't in an industry that is more forgiving of body mods. And I know she won't go over the top like I did - at one point I was able to fit two drumsticks in both stretched piercings in my ears.
Now to prepare for the bollocking coming my way.
"She's a rebel. She's a saint.
She's the salt of the earth and she's dangerous.
She's a rebel. Vigilante.
Missing link on the brink of destruction...
She's the symbol of resistance
and she's holding on my heart like a hand grenade.
Is she dreaming what I'm thinking?
Is she the mother of all bombs? Gonna detonate?
Is she trouble like I'm trouble?"
