Goodbye Mister Jobs
Well -- I will probably be one in millions but that will not deter me today.
It seems fitting that I make some mention as this man's name has been brought up in my world almost every week for the past two months.
How you ask? Well, it is a weird turn of events that would seem totally unrelated, unless of course, someone like me took a minute and put them together in some way that seemed relevant.
It started in the week that Mister Jobs stepped down as CEO of Apple -- the same week that I started taking my current typography class.
Then the day he died, I took my midterm exam for that same class.
I was encouraged to do more research about Mister Jobs by my instructor, and I found that he made the first apple computer in the same year that I was graduating High School, and I was now experiencing my first use of Apple computers every day at college.
Then I was asked to view his 2005 Commemorative Address at Stanford University and I found that he suggested living the same way that I raised my three girls, and we have been living for the past decades.
The Words & The Video Part 1
And I understand he is a bit of an ass... as are most people who are goal minded and tend to just get things done -- funny that, I can be that way also.
So where a year ago, this event would have had no bearing on me what-so-ever,
here today it seems to be encompassing me. It is all in the view from where you are.
Good bye Mister Jobs ~
well said and well done!
thank you for following your bliss.
