Pink and happy!

A quick blip this evening just before I lost the light (so EARLY now).

I'm replying belatedly to those who kindly enquired about 'is it Didcot?' from an earlier blip... And yes! It was Didcot.

I've grown quite fond of the cooling towers but my very favourite Didcot quote is from the wonderful 'Meaning of Liff' by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd, who define Didcot (noun) as 'a tiny oddly-shaped bit of card which a ticket inspector cuts out of a ticket with his clipper for no apparent reason'.
They go on to say that all the confetti at Princess Margaret's wedding was made of didcots... :-)

If non-entities were ever invited onto Desert Island Discs (I'm hoping I haven't lead you down a pudding road with this spelling, because that's a whole other programme!) and I was there... The Meaning of Liff would be my book of choice.
Because I laugh every time I read it.

Also, I think I made rather a fuss yesterday about a single flea!
Thank you for your comments! Perspective was restored last night!

Tonight? The red wine forecast is wet wet wet! (Joy!)
Happy Friday one and all!
