English, Coloring, and Kids

This little guy amazed me by his coloring. At five years old, he didn't make a single colored line outside the drawing. After learning the parts of the house, different rooms and common objects in each room, we played a listening game. Each kid got to say, "Color the ______, ______." And all the other kids followed the instructions. We had couches colored purple, yellow lamps, orange cars, by the time we were done. It was a lot of fun.
