Assumption University

We visited Assumption University and got a tour from an English professor/friend. It is the Harvard/Oxford of Thailand, the most beautiful campus I have ever seen (in America, Spain or Thailand). The style, architecture, and landscape was a giant contrast from the campus I live near.

Although all university students in Thailand must wear the same uniform, it was obvious that the students who go to this campus are from more affluent families. One of my friend's students is the son of the Ambassador of Laos. Just to give you an idea, the students I primarily work with pay about 1,000 baht (just over 30 US dollars) for a semester of university. Students at Assumption University pay 55,000 baht for a semester. It was interesting to see a different side of the city.
