Arch Rock

Last day. That's good and bad. Reallly looking forward to getting home and seeing the family, but loving being in the desert. Finally some peace after a frantic few days.

But, it's time to go, so up early and a final pack and sort. Then into the car and a few quick walks before heading out of the park. First up was Arch Rock, soon after sunrise. Great little spot, it's all just so amazing (and different). Then skull rock and a drive down some back roads on "Geology Tour".

And then the start of the winding my way home, left the park around 12 and while it's only 170 miles back to LAX I had a few stops. Yep, more shops, more shoes, presents for the kids, and more computer shops. Haha.

And then on the freeway, and traffic.

And then finally into the oasis of the Koru Club (the Air NZ flight lounge) at LAX. Finally some service, a smiling face, and a "gidday mate".
