Birthday Girl

Camped last night on the shores of Lake Hawea. Was a pretty wild and windy night, and lonely. I was the only person there. And ironically, despite being about to see "city lights" (Lake Hawea) I had no cell phone access. Oh well.

Up relatively early and into Wanaka, to gain internet access (a few days without!) and then off to Queenstown to pick up the kids and grandma. They arrived safely, some shopping, then picked up Mrs PS, and off to Te Anau we headed.

Arrived around 6 and we took the easy option, Top 10 Holiday Park Te Anau. Not cheap, $105 for 3 adults and 2 kids, but the facilities were great.

An entre of fresh whitebait and presents for the birthday girl. 8 years old today, and then out to dinner. Kids very excited to be off in the camper!
