Cake.

This photograph was taken in a rush (and with a rather basic digital camera) but it manages to capture a cake that I baked recently. It was made for some dear friends of mine for their daughter's dedication, of whom I am an Auntie to. From Auntie to niece, pink seemed the only appropriate colour to theme and decorate the cake with. You know, girl to girl!

...Some rich and moist vanilla sponge, fresh cream, jam, buttercream and fresh raspberries later, I think it's fair to say the cake was enjoyed by all.
