Just playing

Spotlight yesterday, so thank you. Im still reeling from the news that someone gifted me a full membership. I would like to thank that person again.

As i told you i bought myself a flashgun for my birthday and gave myself it early. So i've been playing with it. I pretended it was an aeroplane and flew it around the house, i let it beat me on FIFA, we had a game of Scrabbble...i lost obviously.

Then we got around to some photography. I saw a cool little technique in a magazine once using long exposure, a flashgun a glamorous assistant and a fencer. This photo is using the same method. Obviously it isn't perfect due to the fact i had no assistant, the spacing is poor and there was a colourful kids toy in the background.

However the result is kinda what i was looking for. So now i know how to do it i will endevour to...one day create a decent version. I feel like i am learning everyday.

The reson i used this actual picture insted of a decent shot of a Mrs Mystrious or a moody sp is that it reminded me of this and i couldn't resist an excuse to link it in.
