A moment in time...

By shellyd

Twas a sad day!!

Our team is on their way home and I've been MIA. I'm trying, really I am. Let's hope I get can get this right and post more often. With Spring and new activities and everyone spending more time out socialising - blipping seems to fall by wayside too easily.

This morning we were up early and headed to Boktown at Montecasino, full of hope but nervous as hell for our team. The game was one stress after another - I think I was covering my eyes most of the time towards the end - our RWC was over.

There is a lot of anger over here at the Ref - all I can say to that man is that it might not be a wise idea to visit our shores anytime soon. LOL

Hmmmm, no more RWC - surely I shall now have more time for Blipping. We'll see. I've gone into SUPPORT NEW ZEALAND mode and I seriousley hope they give those Oz guys a thrashing next week.

In other news - I'm really throwing myself into Photography at the moment and I'm trying out birthday parties and having fun - no so much fun when I have to look through 400 pics. Need to be less snappy. Hehehehehehe

After Rugby today, some time was spent with the family. It's great getting together, catching up and braai-ing (aka barbequeing).

Here's to another week. The event I have waited and saved for is finally here and from Thursday to Sunday I will be hanging out at the Photo & Film Expo happening at The Dome in Randburg - absorbing everything I can. There are so many workshops - my Blackberry calendar is full up. Hubby is helping out and has taken two afternoons off to help me with the boys. I'm really a lucky girl. I've had my weekend (4 day pass) for months now and it is finally here. Now the decision is WHAT LENS TO BUY!! I'm eyeing out the Nikkon 105mm Macro - what do you think??
