Winter greens

Up early, watched some rugby, got the football stuff organised as it was an early start in Livingstone.

With the weather being wet over the weekend, the opposition had sensibly booked their club 3g astro.

I was really nervous about this game, I need not have been the girls took control and domonated possesion and for once started well. We had a chat at training about the early kick off and all the girls agreed to go to bed early what a diffference.

In the end we won by 4, with the opposition keeper keeping our strikers at bay for long periods. We have 2 games left, both against the second place team, interesting end to the season.

Back home and chores to be done. I visited the dump twice with rubbish and took Juno on a forage with my pal. Got some hazelnuts and a big bag of sloes. Sloes in the freezer must buy some alcohol to make various sloe drinks.

Quiet night in with the family, making apple and cinnamon jelly just now, the house smells lovely.

These are the cheap plants from Homebase, some cabbage , lettuce and a big sage plant all for £1.24.
