Friends!

Well the patient is still not well. Fluctuating temp and a bad chest chough so I phoned the surgery to make an appointment but all they could offer me in the mornings was the usual numpties, personally I would rather go to the vet than to them anyhows got a slightly better one for the afternoon. This one didnt treat her like she was 10 for a start and I said that frankly I was fed up with being told everything is the fault of a bug of virus and that being sent home for the weekend with no diagnosis or no cure was not acceptable!

With that she got of her bum and sounded her out and hmmd and hawed. She then said she would prescribe a stronger antibiotic than the doc gave when my daughter had her second chest infection (this one is her third this year!) I asked why as she getting so many? "do you smoke?" she asked "no" was the reply "any history of asthma in the family" I said yes on her fathers side but that I didnt want to go down the road where docs chucked inhalers at kids for the slightest reason! With that, the doc said she would prescribe stronger medecine but if she turned up ith another chest infection the practice nurse would have to check her out for possible asthma, I agreed to that for the time being.

Will see how it goes, in the meantime her is #2 daughter with Pene pup ho is fair growing!
