Inside Out!

Poor Ollie, our walk this morning was so windy that his poor ears were blown inside out! That's what comes of heading off round the headland when there is a gale blowing, but it was such a bright and sunny morning that I couldn't resist.

It was chilly, definitely hat and gloves weather, but so beautiful. Sparkling blue sea and almost cloudless blue sky, the grass rippling in the wind. We watched the gulls and the gannets, the guillemots, fulmars, oystercatchers, plovers and eiders, all enjoying them selves. Ollie ran flat out along the cliff path, dashing down to the beach below, having a quick dip in the sea and then clambering up to the top again. We both came home shattered, but it was so exhilarating that it was worth it!
