The Loveliest Street in Town
Abrego Drive is known for two things. Being lined on the northern section by giant saguaro cactus and on the southern end by these wonderful Date Palm trees.
The road stretches the length of the town. Not all of it is scenic and there are only two places you can cut off of it before getting to the ends, so if you're on it, you're pretty much committed to it.
But the drive through the sweet parts are worth every second.
Very busy day today. I'm off right now for a pulmonary function test and then a follow up with the pulmonologist (I have a lot of "-ists") in Tucson. Then a dinner and art auction this evening. So I will be rushing to get from one to the other considering travel times.
It's a perfect day today. High's in the upper 80's and bright and sunny. By the end of the week it's supposed to be in the high 90's. Not so looking forward to that. Hope they are wrong.
Happy day to all!
