It Lives!

The desert that is.

When we think of living things in the desert, we often think of either the slithering kind or the four-legged kind.

But there is a lot of color in the desert. This time of year, the cactus are well past bloom. The type of cactus in this section, on the other side of my street, is dominated by cholla. With their bent arms some are furry looking, others are bare. But trees and bushes grow here, too.

Great news on the health front. I'm breathing at normal levels so I am completely off of all asthma medications. Plus, my sleep study went so well that I only have to go to the specialist who monitors my dental appliance once a year now.

The bad news is that I'm losing itemized deductions from my tax returns! LOL
