Rainbow over DC-7 Airplanes

I followed a rainbow all the way to work this morning. I couldn't resist snapping several shots of it as I drove along.

Passing the airport I had another view of the row of DC-7s. The rainbow over them looked good to me for my follow up on yesterday's blip.


The Douglas DC-7 is an American transport aircraft built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1953 to 1958. It was the last major piston engine powered transport made by Douglas, coming just a few years before the advent of jet aircraft such as the Boeing 707
and Douglas DC-8.
