Sometimes see a couple of llamas on my usual cycle route to work. They're not a common sight in these parts! My route passes the Black Isle Wildlife Park, which has several interesting species in residence.

A few years back, as I was cycling up the hill towards the park, I heard an unusual bird call, one that I'd heard before somewhere, but it wasn't about here. Looked up to see five cockatiels flying by! I seem to recall that they did return after a few hours of freedom.
