Museum Musings

The Castle Museum in York is pretty cool, lots to see and do. In fact, York is full of museums and stuff to do. This is a bit of old medieval stonework, showing some sort of grotesque, well cool.

We walked round the museum in the morning, had a lovely lunch and then walked to the National Railway Museum. The railway museum is free to get into, and you can walk around all day if you fancy. There are loads of trains (locomotives I'm told!) and you can look in the royal carriages and all that sort of thing. I even found a sign for Platform 9 3/4! Felt like I was in Harry Potter for a mo!
