The next big thing?

Who knows? There was certainly something going on outside the Forum this lunchtime involving several young lads with guitars looking anything from confident, through shifty, through anxious and just plain embarrassed.

The two who were being recorded and filmed though seemed pretty cool about it all. And sounded fine too. The only clue to proceedings were the words 'John Peel Centre for Creative Arts' which were emblazoned across the chests of the t-shirts being worn by the crew and painted on a piece of card placed on an easel. Next to a photo of Peel himself. No idea where this Centre is ....

I was torn between choosing this pic and another one of a member of the camera crew looking positively worried as he gazed down at his equipment. This pic is a bit messy but has more life to it.

One of Peel's daughters has a deli down by St Gregory's church / arts centre. Couldn't see any signs of her posh sandwiches outside the Forum though.
