Little Seedlings

It was the first of the next batch of Ethan's weekly swimming classes today. Unfortunately it turns out that only 2 of us have booked in for it so it was a very quiet class!

We then drove in to Edinburgh to visit my pregnant sister-in-law Emma, to give her Ethan's wee baby clothes. Her eldest 2 kids were at school but she was at home with her 3 year old daughter, so I thought it would be nice for her and Ethan to spend some time together without the older kids being there. Ethan wasn't really himself though - he was really clingy and his teeth were burning hot. As he was up twice during the night I suspect those darn teeth are to blame again.

He only slept for 15 minutes in the car on the way home which is unusual, but despite the lack of sleep, he seemed to perk up. Perhaps the trip to Toys R Us to pick up the latest free lego toy helped! He was also well behaved going round Sainsbury's, although wasn't impressed there weren't any freebies on offer at the bakery counter today!

We walked down to our local playpark when we got home and were still there when hubbie drove by on his way back from work. He pulled over and joined us for a wee bit, before walking back with Ethan and I drove the car home.

Foreveryoung has now arrived to stay overnight with us as she's watching Ethan for us tomorrow. (Granny & Grandpa are on holiday in Germany). It's the first time she has been away from Eden overnight so I hope she doesn't lie awake all night worrying about how her hubbie is getting on!
