Knit Wit

Here is a blip of my knitting. Boring for most of you, but necessary for those that I let down tonight. I have been here for 5 days and have been avidly knitting and cooking for my folks. I have also walked and talked .....lots. It has been a great week and I have loved every minute.

For you knitters:-

white squares will make up a big throw - 10 X 9 squares...big project (and expensive) but will be warm and lovely

In turquoise is a large blanket for a friend's Christmas - lovely and soft. Love it.

in purple - Ishbel in the large size. Loving knitting it this time now that I know what I'm doing.

In beautiful and lovely homespun merino and silk - a cowl yet to be buttoned and finished. Will be so warm and toasty- and can't wait to wear it and I will get so much pleasure from it =- THANKS to Rosie for the wonderful homespun.

SO sorry to have missed the knit natter - a neighbour called in and I could not leave. NEXT TIME!!!
