Memorial Day

Today was a low-key day for me, even though it's Memorial Day. Melissa came over this evening and she's spending the night here. It's great seeing her, even though I had sushi with her, Justin and Justin's cousin only a few days ago.

If this picture wasn't blurry, I would've used it as today's blip.

As Melissa and I passed some street lights on Irving Park Road, they went out. Creepy, huh? On top of that, this was staring straight at us through a glass door in a tae-kwon-do building. It scared the crap out of us, ha.

At Irving Park & Damen. Apparently Matt Manger Lynch got killed on his bicycle at that intersection. Melissa said these are called ghost bikes and they can be found at some intersections in the city.
