Not Manipulated (Much)
I was p**sing about with my camera tonight and came up with this. I just played about with the colour balance of a very over exposed shot of a bottle on Dunkerton's Organic Perry.
Wow, what a taste....it was definitely fermented pear, almost peardrop sweetie sweetness, with acidity and a yeastiness! Awesome.... simple it tasted of what it was meant to, a 300 year old pear orchard according to the bottle.
I had a quiet day at work.....funniest moment was when Verena said "purple helmet" very loudly and innocently then collapsed in a fit of the giggles. She's such a lovely lass and brightens up the office no-end. Lunch this week has been good as it's been the World Masters Track Champs and we've been treated to some fun racing. The highlights yesterday were an announcement about a hearing aid being found and a spaniard who had never raced before surprising his opponents in a match sprint and whipping their arses! Today, a lass in a match sprint went too slow round the corner and crashed!
After work I headed off to Unicorn in Chorlton for my weekly shop. Somehow, I judged perfectly how much would go in my panniers. I then headed off for NTP for a quick pour-over. Passing Primani a chav stepped in front of me on my bike and I hit him, not hard at all but enough for him to start acting like Noel Gallagher on angel dust! I said sorry and was very polite! I think he was disappointed.
NTP was good, brief chat with Wayne about Wednesday night and how 300 people had visited my Blip page to read the report. Then home and a nice bottle of perry!
